KARACHI: Even after the efforts of five long hours, rescue workers were not able to extinguish fire that erupted in a shoe godown in Shershah area of Karachi.
The third degree blaze which erupted in a shoe godown at around 5 AM could not be brought under control even after the joint effort by 20 fire tenders and four water bowsers.
Reports said factory raw materials worth millions were reduced to ashes as a result of the fire. No casualty, however, was reported in the incident.
