Imran Farooq murder case: Nisar says UK officials coming this week

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that Pakistan authorities have given permission to New Scotland Yard to investigate about Dr Imran Farooq murder from those two accused arrested from Chaman.

Chaudhry Nisar talking to media said that UK Officials will arrive in Pakistan later this week to interrogate arrested suspects in Imran Farooq murder case.

He further said that they are in contact with UK officials regarding Dr Imran Farooq Murder.

Nisar told that the arrested suspects are in Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) custody. “It is our responsibility to facilitate UK officials in Imran Farooq case,”  Nisar said.

Three main accuse of Imran Frooq murder case are in FIA’s custody, he said and added that the investigation of the case will be transparent.

The UK legal team will interrogate from the suspects in Islamabad, Nisar said.

Don’t involve Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) in the case because they also want to see the murderer behind the bars, he added.

He also suggested to media that take permission from the ministry before breaking sensitive issue.

Talking about Ayyan Ali case he said it doesn’t come under his ministry.

Commenting on Asif Ali Zardari’s speech he said he should have avoided that speech and now Zardari is giving clearance in front of everyone.
