KARACHI: Renowned Philanthropist and Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz on Tuesday announced an aid of 0.5 million rupees for the families of dead victims of Karachi heatwave.
According to details, Riaz asked for the accurate name and details of people who died due to the severe heat and load shedding in Karachi while announcing to give their families 0.5 million rupees each.
Sources said that more than 475 people have lost their lives in the recent heatwave due to heat strokes and other causes.
