LAHORE: Punjab Defence Minister Colonel Shuja Khanzada claimed on Tuesday that Zimbabwe Cricket team was threatened before its visit to Pakistan.
Speaking in Punjab Assembly session, Khanzada said that Zimbabwe cricket team’s manager recieved a message on his cellphone on Dubai Airport threatening him of dire consequences if his team chooses to visit Pakistan.
The minister further claimed that the SMS warned the cricket team’s manager about presence of international terrorist group Daesh (IS) presence in Pakistan.
Khanazada said that the number turned out to be that of India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) officer.
