ISLAMABAD: Leader of the opposition in Pakistan’s National Assembly Kursheed Shah termed federal government responsible for heatwave killings in Karachi and Sindh.
The leader belonging to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) while terming the federal government responsible for the rising death toll due to heatwave in Karachi called for the federal govt. to announce a day of mourning over the tragedy.
Later, all the opposition parties announced to observe ‘Black Day’ on Friday over the frequent load shedding during the month of Ramadan amid the killing heatwave.
The opposition also announced to offer prayers for the victims of heatwave deaths outside parliament house.
