Three injured in MQM Pakistan, London workers clash

KARACHI:  Workers of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan and London came face to face at Arif Flate area near Nagan Chaurangi in Karachi on Monday night.

Workers of both factions of MQM raised slogans against each other and also resorted to aerial firing. Sticks and iron rods were also used during the clash during which three people were wounded, including UC chairman Mushtaq.

Sheikh Mushtaq alleged that the party workers of PIB sector, affiliated with MQM`s London chapter attacked him at Arif flate area near Nagin Chowrangi.  “They tortured me and were seen doing ariel firing in the area,” he said. Wounds were visible on Mushtaq`s legs.

Police reached the spot and dispersed the warring workers of both factions of MQM and shifted the injured to hospital.
