Chairman Turkish investment group calls on CM Punjab

LAHORE: Chairman Turkish Investment Group, Ahmet Albayrak met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif here on Sunday.

Ahmet Albayrak showed deep interest in investment for the development of housing and social sectors in Punjab.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said Pakistan and Turkey were bound in historic brotherly relations and Turkey had supported Pakistan in every hour of difficulty.

He appreciated the spirit of people of Turkey with democracy under the leadership of their great leader President Recipe Tayyip Erdogan. The great nation of Turkey under the leadership of their great leader President Recipe Tayyip Erdogan saved democracy through great struggle and this step would be written in golden letters in the history, he added.

He said people of Pakistan and Turkey were close friends, that was way different companies of Turkey and investors were making investment in Pakistan especially Punjab.

Interest in investment by Turk Group in social sectors of Punjab was welcomed and Punjab government will extend all out cooperation in this regard, he added.

The Chief Minister strongly condemned the incidents of terrorism occurred recently in Turkey and said  the people of Pakistan were with Turkish people in this hour of distress and their joys and sorrows are common.

Chairman Turkish Investment Group, Ahmet Albayrak said his group wanted to make investment for the improvement of housing and social sectors in Punjab and would work under close contacts with Punjab government in this regard.

He said Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif had played a positive and active role for promoting relations between Pakistan and Turkey.

He said people of Turkey appreciated unprecedented capabilities of Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Undoubtedly, Shehbaz Sharif had completed different public welfare projects with quality and speed.

Provincial Ministers Malik Nadeem Kamran, Mansha Ullah Butt, Ayesha Ghaus Pasha, senior leader of PML-N Kh. Ahmed Hasaan, Chief Secretary, Chairman Planning and Development, Pakistani Consul General in Istanbul and senior officials were present on the occasion.
