LONDON: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan vowed that the political party would not object any verdict given by the Judicial Commission probing alleged vote rigging during 2013 general election.
Imran Khan while talking to reporters during his ongoing private visit to UK said that PTI would not lodge street protests against verdict of the Judicial Commission.
PTI chairman reiterated that he has full confidence over respected Chief Justice of Pakistan and other judges and each verdict would be accepted by his political party. He said that JC verdict would be beneficial for betterment of electoral system in Pakistan.
Imran alleged that criminal mafia is looting assets with support of elements present in Sindh government as approximately Rs40 billion worth property has been purchased so far in Dubai.
While commenting over menace of corruption across the country, he once again blamed ‘Charter of Democracy’ signed between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) heads Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif respectively.
During his media talk, Imran admitted that mismanagement occurred during organisation of Local Bodies’ election across the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
It should be mentioned that Imran Khan is on his three-day private visit to the United Kingdom (UK) where he would meet his sons and also attend fund raising events of Pakistani community to establish Shaukat Khanum Hospital in Peshawar.
