Former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that all murderers of slain Benazir Bhutto have finished except a military general. He added that First Investigation Report (FIR) of Benazir Bhutto murder case has been registered against a general.
Asif Ali Zardari while addressing 62nd birthday event of slain Benanir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh – Larkana here on Sunday said that FIR against culprits was registered by BB herself and co-accused persons were also facing case alongside the general.
Pointing over General retd. Pervez Musharraf without mentioning his name in his address, Zardari said that all assassins of BB have nearly finished except a military general.
Zardari clarified that the FIR was filed by BB herself but not by anyone else and even by him. He added that Benazir Bhutto had named Pervez Musharraf for all responsibility if something happened to her before his martyrdom.
He announced not to take back FIR at any cost whether they got pressurised for withdrawal of the case. He said that nobody could take back the FIR of BB murder case.
PPP co-chairman complained that nationals are being forced to witness one-sided picture but not the real image of the issues. He said that BB children and nation are standing side-by-side to him for any cause.
He was addressing the birthday ceremony of slain former prime minister Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh that was attended by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari and other PPP central leadership here on Sunday.
