LAHORE: The Pakistan Boxing Council, led by Ifraz Khan, and Secretary Rasheed Baloch, here on Tuesday congratulated Mohammad Waseem over his achievements as a professional boxer.

The PBC whole team also praised his trainer Atta Mohammad Kakar, who coached Waseem at Youth Club Quetta for improving his game to such a level despite poor facilities that he not only won the world title but also successfully defended it.

“Waseem is a professional and PBC is also working for the same purpose. Hopefully when the council becomes sufficient enough he will be fighting under PBC banner,” Rasheed said.

He said, “Waseem has been invited for a shadow boxing in PBC’s next fight most probably to be held in Lahore.”
