ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday rejected applications seeking disqualification of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan as member of the National Assembly.
The applications were filed by citizens with the ECP urging it to disqualify both Imran and Nawaz Shairf.
The ECP while declaring the applicants non-serious and due to lack of evidence rejected the applications.
The applicant against the Prime Minister has contended that how the Prime Minister had gone to London to get his treatment from there whereas the poor man of the country had no treatment facility.
