JI urges women to follow Hazrat Aysha (RA), Hazrat Fatima (RA)

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan chief Senator Sirajul Haq has urged the women of Pakistan to make Hazrat Aysha (RA) and Hazrat Fatima (RA) their role model so as to have success in both this world and hereafter.

Talking to the women conference, held on Sunday at the two days Sindh workers convention in Karachi, he said that the western powers have been targeting family system of Islamic world so as to destroy the very fabric of Islamic societies.

He was of the view that Islamic ideology and women empowerment within the spare described by Islam would fail the agenda of enemies of Islam and Pakistan.

JI women wing leader Samia Raheel Qazi in her address, said that women are directly affected to poverty, inflation, unemployment and situations of the country.

She said that the JI was starving hard to restore the position of women in our society. She said that they wanted to acquire back the status they were bestowed by basic teachings of Islam. She said that women have been facing several problems in this society but the need of the hour is not to disappoint and to continue struggle for Islamic revolution in the country which would ensure provision of rights to women.

MS Qazi was of the view that the prosperity of Sindh would ensure prosperity of Pakistan. She added that efforts to ensure the rights of Sindh should be harnessed.

Durdana Siddiqui of JI Women wing also addressed the conference. She said that only a prosperous and Islamic Pakistan would mitigate the problems of Sindhi people. She said that back to back ruling regimes both so-called democratic as well as dictatorial have been ruining the country for almost seven decades. Its the high time for the nation to support and uphold the agenda of Jamaat-e-Islami.

Aysha Munawar and Kosar Firdous of JI also shed light on the struggle of JI women wing in and outside the parliament and the issues, as well as their causes, being face by women in our society, respectively.
