FAISALABAD: Police arrested 65 outlaws and recovered illicit weapons from their possession during the last 24 hours.
Police sources said that 49 proclaimed offenders, eight court absconders and eight target offenders were arrested during a campaign in the district.
Police recovered two guns, a pistol from the alleged criminals and seized 151 litre liquor.
Meanwhile, district police nabbed six drug peddlers Azhar Khan, Nawaz, Latif, Shahid, Zubair and Abid and recovered more than eight kilograms of charas from their possession.
