Pakistan’s armed forces vigilant enough to thwart any attack by enemy: Chief of Air Staff

KARACHI: Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said the country’s Armed Forces were vigilant enough to thwart any attack by the enemy.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the IDEAS 2016 exhibition here on Thursday, the Air Chief warned India to exercise patience and focus on a resolution to the Kashmir dispute.

“We are fully aware of the escalation in conflict arising from the Uri incident in Occupied Kashmir,” he said. He added that the Armed Forces are ready to defend the country in face of any misadventure by the enemy.

“We are not worried about India at all,” he added.

Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman further said Operation Zarb-e-Azb is complete war and no one should have any doubts on that.

He said that Pakistan is preparing Super Mushak jets for Nigeria and Qatar and signed an agreement with Turkey to sell 52 Super Mushak basic trainers during IDEAS 2016 expo.
