Captain among three Pakistani troops martyred in Indian shelling at LoC

RAWALPINDI: Three Pakistani troops including an officer were martyred in an unprovoked fire by Indian forces in the Kotli Sector at Line of Control on Wednesday, an ISPR statement said.

Those martyred included Captain Taimur Ali, Havaldar Mushtaq Hussain and Lance Naik Ghulam Hussain, the statement added.

Seven Indian troops were also killed in retaliatory fire by Pakistani forces.

Earlier in the morning Indian forces had targeted a civilian passenger bus in Neelam Valley at the Line of Control (LoC), killing 10 and injuring 11.

Indian troops are continuously targeting the civilian settlements along the LoC in all the sectors including Shahkot, Buttle, Karela, Tatta Pani since Wednesday morning.
