Thousands of professionals to participate in JI convention: Hafiz Naeem

KARACHI: Tens of thousands of people from all walk of life, including doctors, lawyers, engineers and educationists have consented to participate in the two day convention, being held by Jamaat-e-islami (JI) Sindh.

JI Karachi chief Engr. Hafiz Naeem was briefed on the preparations made so far in this regard at a meeting held on Sunday at JI Karachi headquarters Idara Noor-e-Haq. JI Karachi General Secretary Abdul Wahab, JI Karachi Secretary Information Zahid Askari, representatives of Pakistan Business Forum, Engineers Forum, Islami Nizamat-e-Taleem, Human Rights Network and other organizations and wing of JI participated in the meeting.

The meeting was informed that all large number of Ulema, scholars, students and people from other walks of life would be participating in the convention.

Speaking on the occasion, Engineer Naeem said that the convention includes an open forum on Sunday November 27. He directed party workers to invite people without any discrimination of cast, color and creed to join the program.

He said that JI is a political reality in Sindh and the party has played an active role in resolving civic issues. He added that the current situation of Karachi in particular and entire Sindh in general in a matter of grave concern for those at the helm of affairs.
