KARACHI: Former president Asif Ali Zardari has announced that he would very soon come back to Pakistan and announce next course of action of his party.
Without giving exact date of his return to the country, he said he was not living in exile and he would come back to Pakistan in few weeks.
Sources said the former president had been waiting for retirement of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, who is going to retire on Nov 29, after that the PPP leader would return to his homeland.
Sources further said Zardari would participate in late former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s death anniversary on December 27. He would also make a speech on this occasion and announce next course of action of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) in the politics of Pakistan.
Zardari had made a controversial speech in which he had said he as a politician was permanent, while ‘some people’ only come for brief tenure and then go. Following his controversial speech the co-chairperson of PPP had left for Dubai.
