HYDERABAD: Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh on Information Moula Buksh Chandio on Saturday strongly condemned what he said Minister of state for Water and Power Minister’s anti-Sindh polices.

He said that the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) has disconnected power connections of water supply and the people of Hyderabad were without drinking water for the last two days.

Chandio alleged that the federal government was deliberately targeting Sindh for being the stronghold of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Flaying the Hesco for disconnecting electricity supply to Hyderabad Development Authority (HAD), he said that the Hesco officials did not even consider the miseries of the citizens while disconnecting the electricity supply.

He said that due to some federal ministers’ policies, anti-federal government feelings were on the rise in the province. He said that due tp‘anti-small provinces’ polices, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz was nowhere in the province.

Mr Chandio said that it was not appropriate to make the people suffer in official matters.

Sources said that the Hyderabad Development Authority has a huge amount outstanding it and despite repeated notices by HESCO, the dues have not been cleared.
