Current rulers have no courage to challenge enemy: Hafiz Idrees

LAHORE: Deputy chief of the Jamat e Islami,, Hafiz Muhammad Idrees, has said that the armed forces were giving a befitting response to the unprovoked firing from Indian side but the cowardly Pakistani  rulers were not ready to utter a word on the issue.

Addressing Friday congregation at Mansoora here, he said that the rulers in Islamabad did not have the courage to challenge the enemy and mould the opinion of the world community in its favour. The enemy firing was causing heavy loss of life both of civilians and troops but there was no protest against that at the government level, he added.

Hafiz Muhammad Idrees said that Indian Premier Modi was establishing relations with the countries having friendly relations with Pakistan with the intention to create misgivings in regard to this country.

The JI deputy chief lauded Turkish President Recep Tayyib Erdopgan’s address to the parliament especially his commitment to revive the Caliphate and support for the Kashmiris. He said that Turkey undoubtedly had the capability lead the Muslim world. Hafiz Muhammad Idrees deplored that the Pakistan government had tried to make Turkish President’s visit a family affair and had not bothered to arrange a meeting of the visiting President with the national leadership in the country as would have strengthened national unity and cohesion. —INP
