PESHAWAR: At least 12 suspected persons were arrested during a search and strike operation conducted by security forces and police in Saro Killay Charsadda here on Tuesday.
Police said nine SMGs, 19 rifles, three M16, 7 12-bore, 30 pistols, 5 Kalashnikovs, 50 magazines and thousands of cartridges were recovered during the search operation.
The door-to-door operation was carried out during early morning hours in which sniffer dogs were also used, police said.
