KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that the Education Department is ready to provide infrastructure to renowned private educational institutions in rural Sindh if they were willing to establish their campuses there so that the children of less privilege areas may get better opportunities of education at their door steps.
This he said while talking to a delegation of Pak-Turk Schools here in his office on Friday, said a statement.
Director Education Pak-Turk Schools Ali Yalmaz, Registrar Private Institutions Rafia Mallah and other officers also attended the meeting.
He said that it was a fact that there were better opportunities of education in big cities but in rural areas such opportunities were limited.
So well-known educational institutions are supposed to establish their campuses there to provide better educational facilities for the students of rural Sindh, he added.
The members of the delegation informed the Minister that Pak-Turk Schools’ management was willing to establish their campuses in Larkana, Dadu and Obuaro as well.
The Minister assured them that there was a peaceful environment in rural Sindh and there was no issue of law and order and they could move freely to continue their educational activities.
In the meeting, the Minister was introduced to the students of Pak-Turk Schools who excelled in international events.
Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, while appreciating them, encouraged them to focus on their studies.
