KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee has announced to hold a protest outside Karachi press club against Defence minister Khawaja Asif’s statement in the National Assembly for the party.
MQM Rabita Committee ordered their workers and supporters to gather at the press club for the protest today (Tuesday).
The Committee had called an emergency meeting to discuss the future course of action following the remarks from the defence minister and the MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s announcement.
Earlier, Altaf Hussain said, “It is enough, now I cannot lead,” adding that he was disappointed over the silence of entire nation. “The whole assembly became a silent spectator when Khawaja Asif ridiculed us,” he added.
