ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Wednesday that Allama Muhammad Iqbal through his poetry presented the real and soft face of Islam to the world as his message was for all times and all people.

The minister, in his message on Iqbal Day, said, “We can find solution of our problems in light of Iqbal’s poetry.”

Marriyum Auranzeb urged the youth to study the poetry of Allama Iqbal to understand the real spirit of Islam. He advised for action instead of mere making claims. He perceived the idea of ‘Khudi’.

She said his poetry was for all times and he had become a symbol of Muslim unity.

The minister said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had been striving to transform the country as was envisioned by the Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Iqbal.

Pakistan was incomplete without the vision of Allama Iqbal, she added.

She said terrorist and extremist mindset could be changed under the guidance of Iqbal’s poetry.
