KARACHI: A local court has sent former senator Faisal Raza Abidi to prison on a judicial remand till Nov 19, local media reported on Sunday.
Former PPP senator Abidi was produced before the Judicial Magistrate in Malir court earlier today.
A case has also been registered against Faisal Raza Abidi at Sachal police station for possessing ‘illegal weapons’. Officials claimed five different kinds of illegally possessed weapons had been recovered from the house of former senator who was arrested from his New Rizvia Society residence during a late night raid on Friday.
