Pakistan’s petrol reserves about 100,000 tons: Petroleum Ministry

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources has said that the country has around 100,000 tons stock of petrol in reserve.

Moreover, total import plan for month of June, 2015 was 393,000 tons as so for 155,563 tons has already been imported while 237,437 tons is planned to be imported from June 16 to 30.

The ministry said that there was no shortage of petrol anywhere in the country. The spokes person said that Pakistan State Oil (PSO) vessel had reached last night, carrying 30,000 tons of petrol while Shell Pakistan Limited (SPL) vessel had been docked on Monday.
