ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet met here on Wednesday and praised law enforcement agencies as well as Interior Minster Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for effectively maintaining law and order amid PTI’s call to lockdown Islamabad.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chairing the meeting hailed the interior minister for his efforts to maintain writ of the government and foiling an attempt to lockdown the capital.
The interior minister thanked the prime minister for reposing confidence in him and said he handled the security challenge successfully under his leadership.
The meeting offered ‘Fathia’ for the victims of Gadani shipbreaking yard and Police Training College Quetta.
