ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday fixed intra-court appeal of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) for hearing, against the verdict of single bench restraining the party from locking down Islamabad.

A division bench of Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Gul Hassan Aurangzeb would hear the case on Wednesday.

The petition was filed by Muhammad Bilal advocate on behalf of PTI.

The petitioner had stated in intra court appeal that several facts were ignored in the decision of single bench.

He added that the court didn’t give patient hearing to PTI during the proceedings of the case.

He prayed the court to set aside the October 31, decision of IHC.

It may be mentioned here that earlier IHC had directed PTI to hold protest at designated place and avoid locking down federal capital.
