NAWABSHAH: Police seized huge quantity of counterfeit veterinary drugs Tuesday, however the peddlers managed to escape from the clutches of police.
According to details, Qazi Ahmed Police on secret information raided a vehicle carrying more than 51 cartons of fake drugs for domestic animals.
The Police said that it seized cartons packed with Zinc Oxide, Creams, Maxel Sulphate powder, punching and sealing machines and other items.
The accused identified as Manzoor Hussain Baladi and Bagho Baladi managed to escape of the scene. Police has registered case and started investigation.
In another raid, Pabjo Police seized 90 liters of locally made wine from the residence of accused Ramzan Dahri who managed to flee from the spot while police could take his motorcycle into custody.
In a separate raid Gupchani Police recovered 3000 grams of Charas and arrested accused Umaid Ali Arain. Police has registered FIR under Drugs Act.
