ISLAMABAD: Workers’ remittances have been risen by 16 percent during to first eleven months of the current fiscal year.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan overseas Pakistani workers’ remitted US 16632.76 million US dollars in the current fiscal year.
The country wise details for the month of May 2015 showed that inflows from Saudi Arabia, UAE, USA, UK, GCC countries (including Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Oman) and EU countries amounted to 528.34 million dollars, 399.35 million dollars, 221.1 million, 194.15 million, 190.66 million and 28.5 million dollars respectively.
