MULTAN: Four alleged terrorists were killed in an encounter with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Mahr Shah area Khanewal.
According to official sources, On Saturday late night, CTD received information that six to seven terrorists are planning to attack at law enforcers or security installation in Khanewal district.
A CTD team rushed to the site to arrest the terrorists but the miscreants opened fire at CTD team. In self defence, CTD also opened fire. Resultantly, four terrorists were killed by firing of their own companions and others fled from the site, said sources.
The CTD team also recovered two hand grenades, on rifle, two pistols from the site.
