LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General Liaqat Baloch has said JI only believes in Islamic constitution and democracy and it is the only party which can take country out from swamp of despairs.
Addressing to three-day annual congregation (Ijtema-i-Aam) here in Lahore, Party’s Secretary General showed concerns and said the current political situation of the country is unstable.
He said during different elections about 1000 members of the party were elections on seats of National Assembly, Provincial Assemblies and senate.
Liaqat Baloch thanked Allah, that none of them were involved in corruptions scandals.
He hoped that in general elections 2018, people once again elect JI from Punjab and other parts of the country so it will again serve people with even more dedication.
JI Secretary General said people already tried everyone and now it’s time that JI lead the country out of these miseries.
On the other hand, JI Punjab Ameer, Mian Maqsood Ahmed, Vice Ameer JI Fareed Ahmed Paracha, Asadullah Bhutto, Professor Muhammad Ibrahim, Ahmed Bilal Mehboob, Mujeebur rehman Shami, Abu Sufiyan, Dr Syed Waseem Akhtar, Bilal Qudrat Butt, Sheikh Usman Farooq and others also addressed the Ijtema-i-Aam
Meanwhile, re- known columnist Altaf Hussain Quershi, Dr Hussain Paracha, Ruaf Tahir, Salman Abid, Attaur Rehman, Mumtaz Shafi attended the Ijtema-i-Aam.
