KARACHI: At least three terrorists of a banned organization were killed in an exchange of fire with Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) near Korangi Causeway on Thursday morning.
According to SSP CTD Junaid Shaikh, CTD team raided in the area on intelligence information. On the arrival of raiding party the terrorists opened gunfire on them. The security men retaliated and killed three terrorists on the spot. They are said to be planning to launch sabotage activities.
The CTD men also recovered a suspicious bag from their possession.
The bodies were shifted to the hospital for identification, he added.
On the other hand, law enforcement agencies conducted search operation regarding National Action Plan in Junejo and Dada Bhai Town areas of Baloch colony and arrested 37 suspects.
