SARGODHA: A man was killed while eight persons including two women suffered injuries in separate road accidents in Bhalwal and Saddar police limits on Tuesday.
Police sources said that Shariq Imtiaz s/o Muhammad Imtiaz, resident of Bhalwal,was riding a motorcycle on Sargodha road when another motorcyclist collided with him at Ajnala road near Bhalwal by-pass.As a result, Shariq died on the spot while the other was seriously injured.
In another incident, a speeding car hit a motorcycle rickshaw at Kalyar Town injuring seven persons including Asma Bibi, Fatima Bibi,Muhammad Hussain and others.The unidentified driver fled from the scene.
The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals.
Police have registered separate cases at respective police stations.
