KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh and police have arrested 39 suspected criminals during raids carried in two different areas of Karachi.
According to reports, on a tip off the paramilitary troops raided a residential complex in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
At least 14 suspects were taken into custody and moved to undisclosed location for interrogation. According to SSP Malir Dr Najib, the police arrested 35 people during a search operation in Shah Latif Town.
Meanwhile, the Rangers released a policeman who was arrested during a raid at Mominabad police station on Friday.
SP Orangi Town Ali Asif confirmed that constable Jan Muhammad was handed over to police.
