Thanks to Allah I did not do unconstitutional things: ex-governor Sarwar

LAHORE: PTI senior leader and Former Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has said that 2nd November protest will be against corruption not democracy.

Addressing party workers in his office during preparations of 2 November protest Sarwar said PML-N policies have become threat for democracy itself. “We are fighting for real democracy instead of remote control democracy”, he added.

He said rulers are placing estoppels in way of national progress by abstaining accountability. Final and decisive round for accountability will begin on 2 November. PTI will assume power with the help of people instead of support of other forces.

He said that Pakistan Tehreek Insaf is fighting for enactment of real democracy, rule of law and supremacy of constitution by challenging corrupt status quo. PTI is fighting for rights of future generations and collective interests instead of individual interest and we will not refrain from making any sacrifice under leadership of Imran Khan on 2 November.

The PTI leader said rulers talk about accountability but they are not ready to present themselves for accountability so we say that democracy and system is threatened by their steps. Millions of people will participate in protest on 2 November by proving that people want the rulers to be held accountable.
