NOWSHERA: A man died of suffocation while others got burn injuries on Wednesday after fire broke out in an ice cream factory in the Dang area, according to police and fire fighters.
Reasons of fire eruption are not yet known while the police has started the investigation after registering the case with the local police station.
According to eyewitness account, the factory workers tried their level best to extinguish the fire that engulfed the entire building with in no time much before the fire brigade or the police had arrived.
By the time rescue worker arrived at the spot, the fire and resultant smoke suffocated three of the factory workers to the extent that one of them lost the battle of life as they were rushed to the nearby hospital.
Police could not identify so far the labourer who died due to suffocation while the injured were named as Muhammad Ali and Asif Khan.
It took the fire brigade almost an hour in controlling the fire that also caused heavy damages to the property in addition to the loss of precious human life.
