First Test: Pak beat WIndies by 56 runs

DUBAI: Pakistan beat West Indies by 56 runs in first day-night Test in Dubai on Monday.

Chasing a target of 346, West Indies looked confident as Darren Bravo scored a century and was also supported by other batters as well.

Muhammad Amir took three wickets while both the spinners managed to grab two wickets each in the second innings.

Darren Bravo made (116) runs and captain Jason Holder made not out (40).

Azhar Ali was declared Man of the match as well as Pakistan becomes the first Asian team to win the day-night test match.

Earlier, Bishoo’s stunning performance limited Pakistan to a paltry 123 in their second innings before West Indies set a daunting 346 to win the second ever day-night Test finished the fourth day on 95-2.

The remaining two Tests will be played in Abu Dhabi (October 21-25) and Sharjah (October 30-November 3).
