QUETTA: As many as four policemen were shot dead by armed men in Quetta, local media reported on Thursday.
According to reports, the shootings took place in the Pashtunabad neighbourhood of Quetta as the police were conducting a patrol in their vehicle.
Police official Zahid Shah said they were rushed to a government hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack
Police said the assailants managed to escape from the scene as law enforcement agencies cordoned off the entire area in search of the attackers.
