KARACHI: The main mourning procession of the 9th of Muharram ended peacefully at the Imambargah Husanian Iranian in Kharadar here on Tuesday evening.
The procession had commenced from the Nishter Park earlier in the day following a Majlis that was addressed by Allama Talib Jauhri.
Later, the main mourning procession of the 9th of Muharram was taken out.
The participants of the mourning procession offered Namaz-i-Zohrain at the M.A. Jinnah Road.
After passing through its traditional route, the mourning procession concluded at Imambargah Husainain Iranian in Kharadar in the evening.
Elaborate security arrangements were made on the occasion and the personnel of the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) performed security duty.
