ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has announced besieging federal capital Islamabad on October 30.

Talking to media after a party meeting on Thursday, the PTI chairman said that they would close down all the routes to Islamabad and the closure could extend to more than one day.

“We will not the prime minister run the government,” he said.

The PTI chairman said that Bilawal termed Nawaz Sharif a friend of Modi and then shakes hand with him.  “Who should go to such Assemblies which witness commotion? Our decision to not attend the joint session was right.”

He said, “What happened in the assembly today gave a negative message to the world. There cannot be any friendly opposition like of Khurshid Shah’s.”

Imran Khan further announced to close the capital on October 30. All senior party leadership was invited today in the meeting, he said.

He said, “Our party had given a clear stance on Kashmir in the All Parties Conference. We gave a message that we are united on Kashmir issue. I cannot allow the prime minister to use Kashmir issue. Modi is trying to isolate us and still they are calling Modi.”

Criticizing Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, Imran Khan said, “On one hand, Bilawal says that Modi’s friend (Nawaz Sharif) is perfidious while on the other, Bilawal shakes hand with the same prime minister in Parliament. The same Bilawal had called him a thief.”

“I am not as good a politician to practice hypocrisy. I cannot shake hands with corrupt leaders. There is evidence against those involved in corruption, yet no investigations are held. Nawaz Sharif is an accused in Panama Leaks. I am not ready to accept an accused as Prime Minister of the country. He has damaged the moralities of Pakistan. Corruption is not considered as an evil here,” Imran Khan added. —INP
