Three death row prisoners executed in Lahore, Faisalabad

LAHORE: As many as three death row convicts have been executed in across Punjab earlier on Wednesday.

According to reports, two were executed in Lahore’s Court Lakhpat jail while another was executed in Faisalabad central jail. They were executed under tight security.

Aftab Masih had killed two people including a women in 1992 while Tariq allies ‘Tara’ killed a person in 1995 at lower Mall. Both were executed in Court Lakhpat Jail.

Another prisoner Hashmat Ali was executed for gunning down five people in 2000 at Nankana Sahib.

All of them were allowed to meet their families last time yesterday (Tuesday).
