KARACHI: Police in Karachi raided a house and recovered a huge cache of arms hidden in a water tank.
According to reports, Azizabad police raided the house on intelligence information about suspected activities. The arms included klashnikov,rifles and explosives.
In another operation, Police arrested three ‘most wanted’ street criminals involved in robbing university students in the wee hours of Wednesday.
According to SHO Baloch Colony Khurram Aiwan, the suspects were involved in several robbery incidents and their usual target was university students.
The suspects were identified as Asim, Hameed Ullah and Mudassir aka Nata. Two KGs of drugs, four pistols, liquor and snatched mobile phones were recovered from their possession.
Meanwhile, 12 suspects were detained during a search operation in Baldia Town’s Saeedabad sector-8.
Boat Bason and Super Market police also arrested three suspects involved in robberies and murders.
Super Market Police Station personnel also conducted a raid and arrested two accused.
