ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani Tuesday referred two bills including the Plant Breeders Rights Bill, 2016 and the National Command Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2016 to the concerned standing committees for further deliberation.
Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan moved the Plant Breeders Rights Bill, 2016 as passed by the National Assembly in the House.
Similarly, Minister for Law and Justice Zahid Hamid on behalf of Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif piloted the National Command (Amendment) Bill, 2016 as passed by the National Assembly in the House. The chairman referred both the bills to the concerned committees. —APP
