All Parties Conference (APC) called upon by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government here on Tuesday to listen complaints regarding vote rigging during Local Bodies’ election in the province.

The conference agreed to constitute a judicial commission to probe alleged vote rigging in LB polls.

A declaration issued post conference says that Peshawar High Court (PHC) will be contacted for the formation of the commission.

Chief Minister KP Pervez Khattak while talking to journalists said that a committee headed by Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been constituted to identify the government officials involved in irregularities in the elections.

On the other hand, the opposition parties have rejected constitution of the judicial commission and demanded holding of fresh election besides announcing strike on June 10 (tomorrow).
