ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq has welcomed the peace agreement signed between the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Hizb-e-Islami Afghanistan.
Senator Sirajul Haq said “we consistently emphasized that there was no military solution of the conflict in Afghanistan. Politically negotiated settlement through an Afghan-owned and Afghan-led peace process was the most viable option for bringing lasting peace and stability to Afghanistan.”
The successful conclusion of the peace deal between the Afghan Government and Hizb-e-Islami Afghanistan was, therefore, encouraging, JI Ameer said.
Sirajul Haq said India’s growing military, diplomatic, political and economic aggression among all SAARC nations including Afghanistan is an awful conspiracy against regional interests.
The United States (US) wants to make India a corrupt inspector of the region, he added.
If SAARC member countries wouldn’t be free from the clutches of India, then Modi led country will continue atrocious purposes, JI Ameer said.
He further said Pakistan government should stable relationship with Muslim world and other countries instead of India.
