KARACHI: Pakistan former star all-rounder Azhar Mahmood said that Junaid Khan should be part of One Day International side to strengthen Pakistan bowling attack.
Giving review on big scored during the series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, former star said the problem is not in the cricketers but in selection of the team which is not consistent.
He suggested that Junaid should be part of the team on regular basis, and asked the selectors why he [Junaid] was sidelined for first two One-day matches.
Azhar declared him great bowler and also said that left-arm pacers can bowl brilliant Yorkers and he could make the best combination with Wahab Riaz.
The all-rounder also appreciated ODI skipper Azhar Ali and said the way he transformed from Test batsman to One-day player, it should be given lots of credit.
He also urged Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to give Azhar Ali more time as a skipper so he can adjust and give the desired results.
