SAARC to evolve strategies to curb regional corruption: Chief Justice

ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali says corruption and money laundering are the important issues being faced by third world countries.

He was talking to the heads of SAARC Anti Corruption Agencies who met him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

The Chief Justice hoped that SAARC would reach out conclusion to evolve strategies and methodologies to curb and control the menace of corruption at regional level.

He also briefed the delegation about anti-corruption laws in the country.

The delegation comprised Chairman NAB Qamar Zaman Chaudhry and heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies from SAARC countries. —INP
