KARACHI: Two key ‘suspects’ in Amjad Sabri murder case were arrested from Karachi on Monday.
According to police sources, two boys named Mani and Sani were taken into custody from Five Star Chowrangi.
They are said be neighbours of Sabri and reportedly have hand in murder of the legendary qawwal.
Sources informed that the two brothers have strong links in South Africa and it is also learnt that another brother of the duo was attacked by armed men three days after Sabri’s murder. He had sustained bullet wounds in the attack.
The law enforcement agencies have found clues of involvement of Mani and Sani in Sabri’s murder. The arrested suspects were moved to undisclosed location for interrogation. —INP
