ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Senator Pervaiz Rashid has said that government has decided to contact Britain over MQM chief’s anti-Pakistan speech.

He said that the Interior Ministry will hand over a letter to the Foreign Ministry which will be sent to the British government in which the issue of MQM chief’s anti-Pakistan speech will be raised.

He further said that we lodged complaints with the British government in the past too but they always replied that there is freedom of speech in their country. He said that this time they could not state like that because MQM chief, who is a British citizen, was trying to create anarchy in Pakistan and incited people on violence. His speech made the people to attack media houses and posed threats to property and lives of our people.
