Rulers deviating to complete objectives of Pakistan: Liaqat Baloch

Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Secretary General and former Member of National Assembly (MNA), Liaqat Baloch, said Pakistan is an independent, sovereign, honourable and resourceful state but its ideological, moral, economical and electoral pillars are being infected with corruption by deviating objectives of Pakistan.

Liaqat Baloch made the statement while addressing corner meetings held on 25 spots in UC-219 and 222 of NA-156 constituency here on Saturday in connection with Corruption Free Pakistan campaign.

Baloch strongly criticised the government’s unserious attitude for provision of education, health, employment, power, security facilities to the locals. He said the government has failed to control prices of life saving medicines and fake shortage of different commodities. He expressed deep sorrow over drought situation in Tharparker and hike in number of children kidnapping cases in Punjab.

While commenting over Kashmir movement, Liaqat Baloch said Kashmiris are giving sacrifices for their right of self-determination and independence in occupied Kashmir despite brutal torture of Indian troops following orders of Indian PM Narendra Modi. He appealed international powers and institutions to control Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

Baloch said India is playing vital role for spreading terrorism in Balochistan and different parts of Pakistan. He demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to gain confidence of national leadership to formulate concrete strategy for barricading intervention of India in Kashmir and Balochistan.

He said the Balochistan nationals possessed right to live in peaceful environment. He demanded PM to make anti-terrorism strategy by calling national leadership in Quetta to restore peace across Balochistan province.
